Taking over from the annual Ribfest event presented by the Rotary Club of Peterborough Kawartha, the new Kawartha Ribfest will feature four of North America’s top rib teams, and an expanded vendors market with local businesses and artisans, a family zone with activities and entertainment for all ages, and The Hootenanny on Saturday featuring headliners Tebey and Elyse Saunders along with Georgia Rose, Steve Waters Band, Harry Hannah, Haley McNeil, Chris Clark, Ella Campbell, and Lauren Anne Yule.
